Woke up without my husband again. Boo! The girls went to bed last night before he came home and woke up this morning with him already gone. Izzy asked, "Why does dad like to work so much? I like home more. We can cook, and draw, and play clay, and eat, and and play Mario Kart! What else can we do here?" HQ was still quite grumpy and gnawing away on her poor little fingers. Come on teeth!

Ahhh! I am so excited to use my new sewing area!! Here are the fabrics we picked for the girl's Christmas dresses... and Izzy's purse (Every 5 year old girl NEEDS a purse).

The fabric for HQ's dress. A traditional puffy little snowflake dress.
I am also making a little white semi fluffy bolero jacket for her to wear. |

Fabric for Izzy's dress. A chinese inspired knee length dress with mandarine collar.
The black sequins will be used to line the inside of her "required" purse and the"dingle balls"
will also be used for her purse. Izzy said that she may need a pair of black boots to go with her dress, but she will make up her mind after checking out the fancy shoe section of Target.. |
Ty should be home any minute. He is so excited about not having to leave for work until about 7am tomorrow he may stay awake long enough to get a little video game time in.
