No Parking!

This morning I had a prenatal check up. Durning the visit I was told I had to go get another ultrasound to re-check Peanut's heart... I was told they didn't find any abnormalities, but they just wanted to take another look.  It still doesn't sound reassuring to me!

HQ is excited about her cousin's birthday gift... or at least the wrapping paper.

"This is the best way to watch Chipmunks.  It makes your back feel nice!"
Izzy is a very observant passenger.  While riding along in the car she will point out the traffic signs she sees.  "Stop", "Yield", and "No U Turn" are the most prominent ones.  The "No U Turn" is her favorite. For the first time she noticed the giant P with the red slash through it.  She announced "NO P TURN!!" I had no idea what she was talking about at first.  She then asked, "Mom? What's a P turn?"  I still had no idea.  She pointed the sign out.  I told her it was a "No Parking" sign.  She responded with "Why would anyone want to park here anyway? There are too many cars it's dangerous... and there's no candy stores".

Since Ty had the day off he thought a little trip to Chuck E Cheeses was in order.  We have one so close and they are free to go in.  We use them a lot in the summer.  Free air conditioning! Right now we are lucky enough to have gift certificates for any extra goodies.  Thanks Aunt Barb and Uncle Dan!
HQ is enjoying her first "attraction" at Chuck E Cheeses"

She knows Ty is all bark and no bite...

Izzy was excited to show HQ the monster truck.  HQ found her water more interesting.

My Family :D
After C&C we headed to Marukai (our local Japanese market) for some watercress and a treat for Izzy.  While there she spotted erasers in the shape of ice cream, popsicles, and pies.  Of course she needed them for her homework.  At .99 for a pack of 3 we decided it was a good buy (we did actually need erasers!).  She also found a pink and silver scrubby sponge cut into the shape of a heart.  We also got that since she has been helping with housework.  Having her own sponge seemed kind of fun.  Yes... a fun sponge.
