Happy Valemtimes Day!

In spite of going to bed early Izzy and I slept in.  Ty got up with HQ and had completely forgotten about Izzy's school.  We were a little late!  We rushed to Hope (with Izzy scolding us along the way) and dropped Izzy off at her class.  We then went to drop HQ off at the nursery and found out that "separation anxiety" has started for her.  Izzy had it pretty bad when she was about this age every time I headed to work.  HQ seemed to get over it quickly today... hopefully the phase wont last too long!

At The Cotton Shop cutting counter in a sailor hat she made in school today.
The hat is decorated with hearts and her name.  She said it's her "Valemtimes hat".

After school we headed to The Cotton Shop (which is closing!) since we knew everything was on sale.  Izzy picked out a fabric littered in hearts that was in several shades of pink.  She said it would make the perfect "Valemtimes" dress to go with her new hat.  She also helped pick out a dinosaur fabric for her little brother.  She made sure to remind me that we aren't making him a dress out of the fabric.

After The Cotton Shop we headed to my parents'.  Ty fell asleep on the couch almost immediately.  He was knocked out for more than two hours.  The heat makes the poor guy near worthless.  HQ chased the cats and dogs while Izzy search for treasure in the front yard.

HQ happy that Dad's eyes are open!
After dinner it was off to church.  We love our church and look forward to going.  Izzy always has fun there too.  Every time we leave church she asks HQ what she learned.  When HQ responds in her 'language' Izzy will translate for us.  If Izzy is translating correctly the people who watch the kids must be quite odd when we leave the room!
