It was pretty warm out there today! Well, it was for me. I'm not big on the heat, and being pregnant only makes it a little less enjoyable. Anyway, we have been trying to teach Izzy the value of money, which is especially hard since SD's family thinks the best way to raise a child is to give them whatever material item they want... I don't see the benefit in that at all! Anyway we have been explaining to her that money comes from hard work. So she did a few "heavy duty" chores today to learn about hard work. I taught her how to clean the bathroom and sweep the patio (which still needs work). She loved it!

After her hard work (and HQ's nap) we figured a swim was in order. HQ put on her mismatched bikini while Izzy switch from her work swimsuit to her princess tankini. It was extra nice because there was a girl Izzy's age at the pool. They quickly warmed up to each other (which happens so easy for Izzy) and spent their pool time playing together switching from pool to jacuzzi and vice versa.

Tonight my brother is heading over to keep an eye on the place and girls (who will be sleeping) while Ty and I have a nice late date. I'm so excited!
